los angeles - march 2011

This is probably my favorite street photo to date.  Represents the true essence of seeing a fleeting moment and capturing it before it is gone.  Saw this guy out of the corner of my eye on La Brea Street in Los Angeles.  Quickly took the picture with my Leica M8 without even raising it to my eye (a hip shot).  After I downloaded it, I noticed that the lady on the corner had just taken a picture of the same thing and the guy crossing the street was looking back at the spectacle.  How often are you going to see a guy with a cutoff shirt pushing a shopping cart down the street with no pants on (click on the image to see a larger version :) ).  That is strange, even in LA!  More to come later...
